Kandy / Mahiyangana (Experience Clay Pot Making Process, ‘Pan’ Weaving experience in a Village House, Enjoy an Authentic Rice and Curry Lunch, Trek to See Two Beautiful Hidden Waterfalls – Rathna Ella and Kaluwa Wetuna Ella)

Let’s take a deep dive into the Vedda culture and way of life for a whole day. Be a member of the Vedda Thats take the adventurous bush walk through the teeming wilderness, trek the mountain paths to unravel hidden caves, and behold their traditional lifestyles. Evening time, the campfire is aglow around which you sit and enjoy a mouthwatering BBQ dinner and a glittering dance performance, the Veddah dance, a symbolic art form of their cultural heritage.
Day 05
Mahiyanganaya / Gal Oya (Enjoy Picnic Lunch in the National Park, Afternoon Jeep Safari in Gal Oya National Park)
Make your way to Gal Oya, which is a nature-friendly place. Spend a fascinating day trip with a charming picnic at the Gal Oya National Park, an area inhabited by abundant species of wildlife. In the afternoon burst into a jeep safari, down the unexplored dense trail, and found a family of Elephants or leopards around the corner.
Day 06
Gal Oya (The Gal Oya Vedda Village Chief to take you on a walk through the jungles of his ancestors, Explore and know the ancient hunting grounds, Listen to songs of the native tongue as you walk through, Indulge in the jungle as you listen to the hunter-gatherer folk tales)
Today, join me on this amazing voyage that will be created by me, the Gal Oya Vedda Village Chief. Dive into the historical discovery surrounded by jungle vibes, and the original culture of Veddhas. You all will learn dramatically about their traditional way of the jungle. Feel the one with nature and peacefulness by the beautiful and harmonious voices of singers singing songs in their language and listening to the fascinating folktales they are famous for.
Day 07
Gal Oya / Ella (Morning Boat Safari in Gal Oya National Park, Cooking Experience at a Typical Local Place along with dinner)
Explore the wild world of Gal Oya National Park on a distinctive boat excursion on tranquil waters to enjoy the sights of the park’s abundant biodiversity. Then we`ll take you to see the amazing traditional cuisine in Sri Lanka in an interactive cooking class at one of the well-known places there. Learn the cooking basics of preparing traditional fare, understanding how you've already rushed enough through your day, it'll be a nice break, a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner you helped create.
Day 08
Ella / Weligama (Morning Hike to Little Adam’s Peak, Visit Nine Arches Bridge)
Feel free to challenge the rising of little Adam's peak by morning hiking. You will be rewarded by this very beautiful viewpoint of the panoramic sights. In the afternoon, variously enjoy the beauty and courtesy of the Nine Arches Bridge which is the most unique architecture of the colonial period of the country.
Day 09
Weligama / Departure
As your much-awaited Sri Lankan adventure draws to a close, board the bus back to Weligama with essentially the best recollections of island life – their cultural wealth, pristine landscapes, and the warmth of their people.
